I FINISHED METEOR GARDEN 2018 VERSION

Hello, 

If you have not watched the new meteor garden please do give it a chance. I swear and maybe stop comparing it with the Taiwan version just like my mom does. I mean, it would obviously not copy the same old thing and they would definitely change a lot of things because if they just copied the same thing what is the purpose of recreating something right? 

Anyway, I just finished watching the series. I did not binge watch it, I actually waited every week for each episode to have english subtitles and then watch it every weekend. I cannot believe that its over. I am happy with the ending and how it turned out. I also want to say that the last episode really made me cry. Why? They had the original F4 song played in the background during the meteor shower scene and it really made me realize how much of an impact the Taiwan version had to me and my childhood and my life. 

HERE'S THE SONG THAT MADE ME CRY, GIVE IT A LISTEN... WELL IT WOULD BE PART OF THE LAST EPISODE ANYWAY BUT STILL MY POOR HEART. 

 

Also, the ending part where they sang the original theme song of the Taiwanese version with the singer included. I cannot believe it. My tears kept on flowing and I felt like a child again. Those were the days man! All in all, it was a good show, the only thing that I did not like was the dubbing/foley of the instruments and singing. It was too obvious that it was not worked on well. The audio of ANY Chinese production always makes me question their prod team and the way they record all things audio related. And that is my only complain, I will miss watching the show every weekend. Another era has ended, and I can already see the younger generation reminiscing the way I did with the Taiwanese version.
